I'm wondering how the web communicates with a programmableremote, thermostat or other device?
I don't think the device has to be hooked up to a phone line or WiFi!
Is it through radio signals or RFID, and if so, how does THAT work?
The ones I have seen have a computer in the basement attached to your furnace, and wires just for communication to the display/keypad (with temperaure sensor), which is just that, or wireless to the keypad or sensors.
